Have you ever had one of those days were a bunch of little things add up and then when you least expect it...WHAM! the biggie hits you in the face to send you over the edge of self containing your anger? Well that just happened, and now Im gonna write about it. First off my job as with many other peoples sucks. I work for a payday loan company and personally dont believe in them. I also try to help our customers in any way I can because I dont like being a factor in putting people more in debt. and i know i have mentioned before about my area manager, well the title its dedicated to him and heres why......

Our store usually closes at 7. Well we havent collected anything from our collection customers this month so i had to stay an hour later for what is called a debt night to try and get a hold of these people. Why? Because this company is stupid and thinks people will pick up the phone and not lie after we close I guess. So one of our customers has been having a hard time and ended up in collections and I had to get him in to set up a payment arrangement today before the company tried to pull it outta his bank again tomorrow. Well he finally got there a little before 8 and wouldnt you know the stupid system wouldnt let me delete the automatic debits for tomorrow or set up a payment arrangement. So I called my area manager, and proceeded to lose it.

He tried to fix it and it wouldnt work. now let me tell you this man PREACHES about customer service and going that extra mile. I even had to go to an all day class focused on JUST customer service and how to help people. This bit of knowledge is necessary before I tell you his reply.

Upon trying and failing to fix the issue he said well, itll just go to his bank and come back anyway and then you can set up the arrangement. My reply to this of course was the fact that he was in there to set it up so it didnt hit the bank and he was going to get more charges and be more in the hole. Hobbit as I call him tells me well, he shouldve been in there before 7 and it doesnt matter to us weather it hits his bank or not. My next question, as Im sure yours is, was why in the hell did I have to stay an hour after we close if I wouldnt be able to do ANYTHING if I did get a hold of someone or if they wanted to come in right then. well he said, the point of me staying was to get in touch with people, not to actually have them come in and set things up or make payments. in so many words he basically said fuck the customer. I dont care what problems he has, he shouldve been in before 7, and I dont care that we are going to fuck him more. I couldve jumped through the phone and strangled his stupid, arrogant, cold hearted munchkin looking ass. I mean he has done a lot of mean things towards customers, but to tell me this while I have the customer right in front of me, and the day to day bullshit I have to deal with from him sent me over the edge. It really irritates me that I work for someone like that, and I LONG for the day I can quit and tell him to shove it up his ass!

So now I am home, after getting off work and hour and a half late, having a glass of wine and venting to xanga. that is all.  

since sept. 3rd was my last update i suppose its high time i did another one. and since i have more than enough time this morning, here goes. hmmm, what has happened since sept. 3rd.......

i quit my job at the bowling alley. the manager called me on labor day, knowing that i was at my moms, and said she needed me to come into work bc she didnt want to be there anymore. i said no, and she turned into a bitch after that. that and i wasnt making hardly anything, and for me to tack an extra 20 hours a week on my schedule for like $150 really didnt seem worth it to me. so i quit.

i recently went to 2 weddings. within 2 weeks. i dont think ive ever done that. the first one was brians friend and it was really boring. not to say they arent great people bc they are, but i just didnt think it was very well put together. the second one i went to i was actually taking pictures at. the ceremony was about 10 minutes long. i was ok with that. hahahaha! and the reception was pretty good. i got hit in the eye with the cork from the champagne bottle. 2 things went through my head. one, im not surprised it hit me. i pretty much gravitate towards that stuff. and second, how in the hell did it hit my eye? i wasnt even looking up and all of a sudden BAM! i thought my friend shanda behind me was going to die with laughter. i know i wouldve if it had been her! hahahahahaha!

so nate yelled at me and said i have to write something about when he came to visit so here we go. my bestest friend nate came to visit me! bout freaking time by the way. it was, of course, a lot of fun. lets see, what did we do..... play drunken wii bowling and tennis. i now know why those remotes have straps. hahahah! drinking on my tailgate until 5:30a.m. um, navigating through a freaking thorn field to find graves of little boys. that was a bit creepy. but still fun. the delicious mall deli. no more needs said about that. hahaha! we hung out at the strip pits which was fun. (and i totally know where i can hide a body!) hahahahahaha! and trying to hit a bottle that was clearly floating away from us. i swear i find the most retarded things entertaining. and of course the four wheeling. i would have to say that almost, if not topped the mall deli. i should not be able to have power at the touch of a thumb! hahahahahaha! only with nate would i be able to cram all that crap into like a day and a half! and then he had to go back to colorado.  i always miss my friend, but i miss him even more after he visits.....

i think that about does it. didnt do much last month. pretty boring. hahaha! im going to see the ventriloquist jeff dunham in tulsa on friday!!! im so excited! i bought tickets in june so ive been looking forward to this forever!!! hahaha!

and im so mad at you nate. you picked the perfect time to steal my hoodie. right before it started to get freaking cold!!! grrrrrr.....  you better not "accidently" forget it when you come back either.

i went to the eye doctor today. i hate any kind of doctor period, so it was a fun trip. hahaha. anyway i have some big issues with my eyes. the surfaces are all completely scratched up (from contacts) and there is also part of my eye that is supposed to be smooth and he said it looks like cobblestones. (also from contacts) and then he said i have blood vessels forming on the inside of my eyes. this is due to lack of oxygen. (from my contacts) the first two thing can heal, but the blood vessels will be there forever. they arent bad now, but they can get to the point where i wont be able to see through them, if my eyes continue to get no oxygen. so i have to go back in a week to see if the other things have healed and if they havent, he wont prescribe me contacts. if they have healed, (he said it usually takes about a week) then he will let me get contacts, ill have to not wear them so much. but for the next week i cant wear contacts AT ALL and hope and pray that what can heal in my eyes does. and that the blood vessels dont get any bigger. like i said, sad news.
